There's me!

Wow, I can't believe it's really over.
My four years at Trent has flew by and now I am off the Queen's in September for my Teacher's College. It's a very bittersweet moment.

I am very grateful that I have safely made it to the end of the journey but at the same time, am extremely sad that I have to leave this place where my good four years of youth has been spent. My words cannot express how thankful I am to come to this school, meet so many people and to study the things I've wanted. I have piled countless memories and thus Peterborough will always be in my heart.

Butter Chicken at Karma's Cafe

Back in Peterborough means a patio lunch at Karma's Cafe.
They have the BEST butter chicken - I've been on a mission to find a place in Toronto that makes good butter chicken as Karma's... But nope, still haven't  found one yet. I actually don't think I ever will.

Oh and a fun fact about Karma's Cafe is that it was a restaurant featured on the show 'Restaurant Makeover: Season 3' on HGTV! So you can probably imagine how good the quality of this place is…. Oh yeah.

Attempt on Making Pistachio Macarons

Yahhhh…… So my friend and I came up with this great idea that we should try making macarons at home since we love them and if we succeed on them, we could literally eat forever.
As you can tell.. there is no 'final' picture to this blog because honestly, the finished product was such a disaster that I just couldn't' do it.

Now I understand why macaroons are pricey and I learned my lesson and decided to buy macarons instead of trying to make them.

The Melting Pot: Fondue Restaurant

I think my pictures pretty much tell you what kind of restaurant this place is.
My friends and I decided to give it a go here since it was new in town and according to my friends, The Melting Pot is a pretty popular in the States.
My personal opinion on this restaurant was that it was really over-priced for the portion you get, and… even the taste of it wasn't that great. We ordered cheese fondue and now I'm kinda regretting that we should have just got chocolate fondue.. though its not really 'dinner' it probably tasted better.

Every time I come back home from school, me and my Korean friends always come and eat this. It's almost like a tradition now.
And you can probably tell by the name of this post, that this thing is super spicy.

Peterborough: Hot Belly Mama's

Hot belly mama's is probably one of the most known and popular restaurants in downtown. I first came here in my first year because my PSYC101 prof would not stop talking about this place (she did a great job promoting this restaurant to students at Trent. Hah).

This time, I came here to celebrate / welcome a friend who just came back from a long, crazy trip from Indonesia. Best food with the best people

Peterborough: Dancing Bluberries

I introduce you, the amazing Dancing Bluberries!
Indeed it is my favourite dessert cafe in Peterborough since 2008 when I first moved here for school.

They have the most amazing crepes and waffles guaranteed.
It was only recent that I really got into their brunches and other food menus; like the 'Green Goddess Crepe' which is chicken breasts, spinach and alfredo sauce wrapped in a crepe.
They also make the best caesar salad - and I say that because I typically hate salads but I actually pay here to eat their caesar salad here. That's pretty incredible.

I am going to miss this place so much once I leave Peterborough this year.
